This past week I have been listening to the Days of the New self-titled album shown above (image borrowed from Wikipedia). I had the CD in on the way back and forth to work. This is one of those albums I like to pull out every so often and listen to. I have had this CD since my high school/college days. A great rustic and acoustic rock album. Sometimes I like listening to this album while I am driving on a little road trip, just has the perfect sounds for that.
I grew up during the 80's and 90's so I have always listened to hard rock, rock, alternative, and the like. Bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Guns N' Roses, etc. Acoustic versions of songs are always cool too. I've been know to listen to a little Jazz as well. Really whatever the mood calls for.
