There is something so simple yet very special about Rockport Harbor in Rockport, MA USA. One of those places that captures the essence of New England, Massachusetts, and of the East Coast of the US. I hadn't been to Rockport for many, many years and decided to take a quick day trip a few months ago.
The sky was mostly cloudy but had some decent cloud depth to it. With photography sometimes you have to use what is there to create the moment, other times you are blessed with the moment already partially created. The popular fishing shack, Motif No. 1, still adorned its Christmas wreath during the last week in December.
