If you have never been to the Wayside Inn Old Grist Mill in Sudbury, Massachusetts... you really need to check it out. It's one of those historical New England landmarks that looks so awesome during any season. Winter and autumn are my favorite times to visit though. The Grist Mill Pond up above the Grist Mill is also very picturesque. Snap some photos, bring a picnic, read a book... whatever you like to do you can do it there and it is peaceful. The Wayside Inn property of course has a lot of history attached to it. The Wayside Inn is the oldest operating American inn, since 1716 to be exact.

Looking at the photo that you posted, I can say that the place is good. If you are the type of person who is after some historic exploration, then it would be right for you to go to Wayside Inn Old Grist Mill in Sudbury, Massachusetts! The place looks peaceful and not crowded. Actually, I know that Massachusetts has been a home for a lot of great places to visit, that is why I was not supposed when I heard about this! I want to go there as soon as possible.

The Old Gristmill in Sudbury, MA is a great place to visit. It can be crowded during the autumn season... engagement/wedding photographers, leaf peepers, etc. Sometimes, I recommend going before 9am or after 4pm. There is a beautiful walkway and pond behind the mill. Winter can be just as pretty with the snow and the bright, red water wheel. Couple miles from there, is Minute Man National Park which is a prominent landmark from the Revolutionary War era. That spot is vey pretty as well. Lots of history with the Old North Bridge too.
