The smell of autumn... all the different colored trees... the perfect temperatures in the New England area... the pumpkins and gourds... apple picking, apple orchards, apple crisp, applesauce... Halloween... the changing of the seasons.... the vivid vistas and landscapes with country like colors and rustic feel... really way too many things to list here.
Living in central Massachusetts gives me an opportunity to have access to some great New England heritage and many scenic locations. There is such a distinct change between the seasons as well. New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, the Berkshires, and New York are all beautiful areas. I have not photographed much in Maine and Rhode Island, but would love to visit those states a little more at some point.
